YouTube What I Thought...
The YouTube video i watched in class i found very interesting. It showed how strongly people get involved in you tube and how you tube has created its own community across the world. I never realised how popular blogging is, i new that people did blog across YouTube but it never interested me so watching this showed me how people take it seriously and almost use it to find out who they are themselves. I also found interesting how this sharing website creates crazes not just in one area but across the world. For example 'Free Hugs' video this one video on its own inspired so many other to copy him and do the same thing all over the world not just in the same country and so many people actually took the time to watch the video and to go along and do the same thing as he did and also upload there video. As YouTube allows you to comment on others videos this gives people the opportunity to be ether nice or really harsh. I think by putting yourself on something that is open to everyone to see is a risk and anyone putting anything on YouTube especially a blog has to be prepared for harsh comments, because putting yourself out there gives people the opportunity to judge you and as anyone has access to it your giving people the chance to say what ever they want about yourself.
